Classic White Goose Down ComforterReviewed by Titus M. Magnanao, 2010-02-11
Our bedroom is a little on the warm side, and this comforter is the
perfect weight for us.
Its not too heavy, yet it keeps us plenty warm. I'm very very happy
with this purchase.
Obviously OverratedReviewed by Michael Bentley, 2010-02-09
As many others have said, I decided on this item after reading the phenomenal 5-star reviews here on Amazon. This is not a 5-star item, really not even a 3 or 4-star item. This comforter is paper-thin, rough, noisy, and not what I expected at all. Perhaps I was hoping for too much with a product so inexpensive. Just don't make the same mistake that I did and base your decision off of the reviews on Amazon. They are very inaccurate.
an ok comforterReviewed by William A. Feldhahn, 2010-02-08
I like the comforter but the goose feathers stick through it and poke you and it gets very annoying. So i bought a 1200 TC Duvet cover to hopefully fix the problem
Geese are plucked liveReviewed by ABB, 2010-01-10
I'd like to bring the attention to goose down: goose down from China and Hungary (Europe) might be from geese plucked alive. I don't know where the feather and down from this comforter come from.
This is feather-down, not down-feather...Reviewed by M Fong, 2009-10-18
feathers are not warm. they have spikes that pokes out. and are of low quality. you will regret this purchase. I dont have this particular one, but I used to have one that is feathery. Bad choice. the real down ones are so warm, which is a problem since you dont want to get out of bed and one warmer nights, you actually start to sweat.
