For fast-and-light climbing missions, extended backpacking trips,
or backcountry ski tours, the Marmot Mens Zeus Down Jacket gives
you the warmth of a down jacket for less weight than a traditional
fleece. 800-fill down insulation provides low-bulk warmth when you
dont have space in your pack for a huge down layer. A wind flap
behind the zipper eliminates drafts, and the jacket packs up into
its own pocket when its time to climb.

Marmot Zeus good enough for the Gods!Reviewed by Georgia Belle, 2010-01-27
I bought this jacket as a Christmas gift for my husband. He is very cold natured, but hates to feel like a stuffed sausage by having to layer up so much. With this jacket he does not have to add so many layers. It is incredibly warm, but so light weight! Currently, this is his favorite jacket!
Versatile JacketReviewed by C. Stanley, 2010-01-25
I bought this jacket for my husband. He loves it. He is 5'10", 165 pounds. The medium is perfect. The coat is warm yet very lightweight. The fit is trim and flattering. We were tired of him looking like the Michelin man in his old down jacket. One of the nicest features of the Zeus jacket, other than its great profile, is that it is compressible. It will pack in its own pocket, squishes flat in a suitcase or can fit under a raincoat when it is 34 degrees and raining (and we've been to a lot of cold, rainy football games this year). We highly recommend it. As a matter of fact, we like it so much we bought one for our 2 sons and our son in law for Christmas.
Great all around jacketReviewed by R. Gibbs, 2010-01-25
I love this jacket. Lightweight, warm, easy pocket access. Great all around weather jacket. Love the color as well!
Best winter coat I have ownedReviewed by Logan Heath, 2010-01-11
I have had this coat a few days now and I cannot say enough good
things about it. I'm used to a winter coat weighing a ton in order
to keep me warm in sub-freezing temperatures. I am a bigger guy
(6'1" and 230lbs) and the XL is plenty big for me. The articulation
in the arms is more than enough to keep the sleeves from moving up
my arms almost regardless of how I move. The coat is plenty long to
cover my entire torso and then some except when I reach up all the
way over my head. Because of my height, the coat does come up a
little on my torso when I reach straight up but for normal
movements it is excellent.
It has been single digit lows at night and 20-30 degrees during the
day here since I got this coat and I have not been cold at all when
wearing this. I usually run pretty warm but I have not been
overheated at all when wearing this coat. Even when going from
outside to walking around heated stores, unzipping the coat has
been enough to keep me from overheating. That is surprising to me
since the coat is so warm in the cold outside temperatures.
I'm a volunteer with my local Search and Rescue team and cannot
wait to get this out in some extreme conditions and see how well it
keeps me warm when outside for extended periods. I have the feeling
it will do excellently. If it does not, I will be revising this
review accordingly.
Marmot Zues Jacket Men's XXLReviewed by Virginia Sinani, 2009-12-13
My wife purchased this jacket for me as an early Christmas present.
She purchased this jacket because a few weeks earlier we went to
REI in Concord, CA and this was the one that I tried on and
liked.
I am 6'6 250lbs and the XXL fits nicely. The jackets sleeve are
spot on in length. I chose black as my color and it looks
sharp. This jacket is not very puffy but is lightweight and keeps
you warm.
I would recommend this jacket to anyone who is looking for a very
warm, light weight, and compressible jacket. Hands down this jacket
is Tops!
