I love the light-weight feel of the down. It is very warm yet weightless even when wet. Sometimes I will find myself walking around the house with it on and not even realize that I am still wearing my coat! I love it and the product is one of quality and in my opinion, the best in it's price range. The coat does not come with a hood, but I love wearing hats and sometimes the hood just gets in the way anyways! I have come to appreciate the fact that it is hood-less! The black is NOT "trash bag" looking like some black jackets are, because it does not have a glossy shine, it is more of a natural looking fabric. I kinda wish I got the green one though...

This jacket is the perfect "go to" one when it's fridgid outside! It's a straighter cut than most women's jackets which makes it easier for layering. I also love the fleece lined pockets!

I am very happy with this jacket. It is very warm. My only concern is that it's shorter than I would have liked. It sits at the waist instead of just below the waist where I would prefer it, and where my sweatshirts, etc sit.
However, I am glad that I got this jacket because it is so much warmer than any other jacket I've ever had. It's worth it.
