AVERAGE PILLOW, BUT FOR PRICE, I'D SAY DO IT........

Average pillow. Down fill is a MINIMUM OF 75% You might get 75%, you might get more, which I doubt. You can definitely tell there is some other material inside of this pillow. The down feathers are wrapped in some sort of soft foam, which in turn is wrapped in some sort of thin plastic sheath. The pillow feels exactly like one you'd find at Walmart for $10. It is very soft, but does provide support. It had a bit of a chemical smell to it, but after putting on a pillow case the smell was gone. You can hear the plastic sheath when moving you head. It sounds like rubbing two pieces of paper together, or worse like using one of those cheap blue plastic tarps. ON A POSITIVE NOTE: I have slept on it for 3 nights now and have had a very restfull nights sleep with ZERO neck pain. So looks cheap, feels cheap, but sleeps fairly well. For the price, I'd recommend giving it a go. DO NOT THINK YOU'RE BUYING A LUXURY PILLOW HERE, IT'S ONLY AVERAGE QUALITY. IT'S A $40 PILLOW. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

pillow stinks

Couldn't believe the horrible chemical odor evident from the moment I opened the box. The smell only got worst after I opened the plastic cases the pillows came in. I tried running them through the drier on air fluff for a couple of hours -- didn't help. So the pillows are going back. They never made it to under my head because of the smell.
